The morning of February 24, 2022, changed my life forever. The day Russia attacked Ukraine turned the world upside down for tens of millions of people. And the kindness and desire for freedom of the Ukrainian people, the courage and fearlessness of the Ukrainian military will influence the lives of billions of people around the world over the next 2022. The war has changed our world forever, but it has also made us realize that true strength is in those who are not indifferent, who are ready to fight for their freedom and justice…

In 2019, the National Association of Cybersecurity of Ukraine (NAC) was established and I became its President. The founders of the NAC were the owners of well-known cyber organizations in Ukraine, IT, analysts of the General Staff of the Ministry of Defense, and investigators of the Prosecutor General’s Office. The organization was created as a public-private partnership with the National Security and Defense Council and the Cyber Police of Ukraine. I sought to unite the state and business for the sake of the mission – serving the national interest, namely, promoting the protection of critical infrastructure, improving Internet security, and protecting Ukrainians around the world. As an entrepreneur, I also understood that the NAC could become the organization that could shape the cybersecurity market in Ukraine, which means billions of dollars in annual revenues for the state budget and Ukrainian business
Of course, I wish the NAC had been a more influential and resourceful organization at the time of the war, so we could have resisted the enemy better

One path will lead us to a better world: one that is more inclusive, more just, and more respectful of Mother Nature.
The other will take us to a world similar to the one we just left, but even worse, with constant unpleasant surprises. So we have to get it right. The challenges are already here, the future of science fiction and futurists has already arrived.
The AI revolution, COVID-19 and future epidemics, war, political instability, cryptocurrencies, the death of capitalism… All of these can have serious consequences if we don’t take action – each on our own level.
I see my task as sharing with you real-life examples and the basics of cyber literacy so that no one can invade your digital space at the most unexpected moment. The time we are living in is unparalleled in modern history.
